I am Andrew Bell and I joined the People SIG during 2017, and I’m now chair! During my career in the automotive industry, and in academia, I have learnt that people matter in project work.

The Midlands branch was expecting a presentation on “Magic People Skills” but unfortunately the presenter was taken ill on the day of the Event.

This event, kindly hosted by AirBus at Pegasus House, Filton on Wednesday 18th April 2018, looked at what makes a high-performance team.

No project is an island and treating it as a single entity with closed boundaries can hamper successful delivery.

APM is collaborating with the Institute for Government (IfG) on a future report highlighting how to be an effective infrastructure minister.
