Branch and SIG Committee nomination and election process 2022/23

Nomination window has now closed - thank you.

APM’s Branches and Specific Interest Groups are at the heart of a vibrant community of volunteers shaping the profession and raising its profile. If you are able to devote time through the year to work with a group of fellow volunteers, now is your opportunity to get involved and put yourself forward to join a committee. All members are welcome to contribute to the numerous activities that our Specific Interest Groups (SIGs) and Branches get involved in each year.

The Association for Project Management invite you to put yourself forward for the forthcoming SIG and Branch committee elections. Nominations have now closed.

As the chartered body for the project profession, APM relies on the expertise and commitment of its volunteer community for the development and promotion of project, programme and portfolio management. This includes supporting wide-ranging activities for the benefit of individuals, organisations and society including events, publications and product development. We aim to widen participation and the impact of volunteering with APM by highlighting the wide range of activities available to our diverse member community.

For more information about how to put yourself forward, please read instructions below.

Branches

APM Branches offer opportunities to network and learn about latest developments in the project profession in your region.

If you are able to devote time through the year to volunteer within your local community (APM branches across the UK and the Greater Bay Area) and provide activities to engage and promote the project profession, please get involved!

These activities help members to network, connect and learn about the latest developments in project, programme and portfolio management as well as helping them with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Each branch has a committee with roles to suit your volunteering ambitions.

If you need more information please contact Robert Allen, APM Branches Manager.

Specific Interest Groups (SIG)

APM SIGs help to create and disseminate knowledge and thinking. They provide a forum where members can discuss a particular aspect of project, programme and portfolio management that is of interest.

These groups can help with, and support, understanding and practice within the group’s area of interest, as well as helping members with their CPD.

If you are able to devote time through the year to support the outputs of a SIG, please get involved.

Each SIG has a committee with roles to suit your volunteering ambitions.

If you need more information please contact Sarah Slater, Volunteering Manager.
