Dave Lovitt

Dave  spent more than 25 years working on major IT and wider business change projects for HMCustoms &Excise (and subsequently HMRC). An experienced Gateway Review Team Leader he has been a strong advocate of public sector involvement in the wider profession through active membership of APM, and was awarded Registered Project Professional status in 2014.

Since retiring from full time employment in 2016 he has become a committee member of the APM Assurance Specific Interest Group (ASIG) and has helped to organise and deliver a number of events including the 2018 ASIG Conference in Birmingham. He has an ambition to make project assurance feel less daunting, more supportive, and more accessible - especially for small to medium organisations.
