Synopsis:

In a rapidly changing world, how do we get Programme behaviours and values right whilst tools, techniques and frameworks evolve around us?  Drawing on examples from his experience on deployed operations and in major programmes, Martin Sturgeon will show a parallel between the Programme approach to delivery of change and the military concept of the 'Operational Art', which seeks to achieve strategic objectives through coordinated tactical activities in the most complex, changing environments.  Building on this analogy, he will give a personal perspective on several key factors that can shape behaviours, and thereby promote programme success.
