Aaron McAuliffe

Aaron started his career in the Royal Navy as an Aircraft Engineering Mechanic at the age of 16, leaving 8 years later after completing his ONC & HNC in Mechanical Engineering. He then continued with his studies, completing a MEng in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, he is a Chartered Engineer CEng, MIMechE (Mechanical Engineering) and a Fellow of the APM (Association of Project Management).

Prior to joining Rolls Royce Aaron was a Programme Director for Marshalls Aerospace and Defence Group, and he has also held senior leadership roles in Project and Programme Management with GE, Meggitt, Ultra Electronics, and as the Managing Director of an SME.

Aaron leads the Transformation Programme in RR Submarines as well as the Programme Management function. He develops in depth Project Management capability for the business and provides executive leadership and governance of the Submarines Improvement and Transformation Programme. This includes the development and maintenance of the businesses Target Operating Model (TOM), Integrated Business Planning & Control, Integrated Production Systems (IPS) and the Business Operating Systems (BOS). He is an exec and board member for the RR Programme Management function and is passionate about delivering excellence in Programme Management for the Submarines Enterprise.
