Sara Drake announces her decision to leave APM
APM chief executive, Sara Drake, has announced her planned departure from the association.
APM chair, John McGlynn, commented:
"We are sorry to see Sara leave and she takes with her our very best wishes. The board has accepted her resignation with regret and is hugely grateful to Sara for her stewardship over the last three years.
"APM has achieved a great deal under her tenure and is well placed to deliver on its strategic objectives and to build on the excellent progress made in our first year as a chartered body.
"Sara is looking to pursue fresh challenges having set APM on a really solid footing. She will remain fully committed to APM until her departure in summer 2018. The board has commenced a search for her successor."

Thank you Sara and wishing you every success in your future venture(s). It was a pleasure to have been able to get involved and support you through my volunteering activities.
Thank you, Sara, for taking the CEO role at a time of immense change for the APM. The Association has been my professional body of choice for over 25 years, ever since I started as a junior PM in ICT, and your time with the APM coincided with what has proved to be the most transformational time that I can remember. It has been a real pleasure working with you whilst I was a Board NED, and having your support for initiatives which I have also championed throughout my membership. All the very best for your next step. Kind regards, Sarah
