New to APM: Digital badges
APM is proud to launch its latest initiative and member benefit: Digital badges, a brand-new platform for project professionals to demonstrate their accomplishments achieved through APM.
Powered by Acclaim, market leaders in their field, digital badges carry a live verification and details the criteria and skills needed for an individual to achieve their accolade. They are designed to be shared across a wide variety of social and online platforms.
On launch, APM chief executive, Debbie Dore commented:
“One of the key objectives of our strategy is organisational innovation; to design and build APM as the model sustainable professional body of the 21st century and this exciting launch helps us take yet another step closer to achieve that aim as well as bringing new benefits to our members.
Driven by international growth and new demands from the profession for easier ways to share their achievements with peers and future employers, we needed to progress beyond solely printed certificates and digital badges play a vital role in meeting that demand.”
According to LinkedIn research, profiles with certifications and badges receive six times the number of profile views so are excellent for those looking to progress in their career and raise their visibility.

Fantastic initiative, delighted to receive my members badge! A bit disappointed not to be able to get a badge for my qualification obtained before May 2018, is there a particular reason for this cut-off date?
i recently had my student membership but didn't receive my badge
I’ve also recently applied for a student membership and not yet received my Acclaim badge email. Please advise - thanks.
