On 8 October 2022, our GBA Branch committee members Jimmy Cheung and SS Wong ran an APM information session for 22 project management students.

According to Mike Newton from University of Warwick, these 22 students has just started their MSc Programme and Project Management with The University of Warwick - Vocational Training Council ( WMG-VTC : Why study UK management master in HK and why choose the university of Warwick (vtc.edu.hk) ).

This information session was to introduce APM and encourage students’ involvement with APM especially GBA Branch. Here we would like to thank Jimmy and SS for sharing their experience of the challenges and opportunities on working in Project Management in Hong Kong. After the information session, Mike Newton believes that the students would like to have a closer relationship with APM in the future.

APM GBA Branch will continue working with the WMG-VTC on project management professional promotion and looking forward, WMG-VTC students could join the GBA Branch event in 2022/23.
