Could you help shape the future of the project profession?
If you’ve ever wanted to drive change that will benefit project professionals and the communities they serve, now’s your opportunity.
Full and Fellow members of Association for Project Management (APM) can nominate themselves as candidates in the upcoming board election. This will result in four new trustees elected to play an active role in taking the association forwards.
The board of trustees plays a crucial role in ensuring APM fulfils its mission to inspire communities to deliver meaningful change for societal benefit by advancing the art, science, theory and practice of project management.
Those who feel they can bring diverse skills, backgrounds and experience to the board can nominate themselves to stand in the election. The deadline for nominations is 11 September. Voting opens on 7 October and closes on 8 November. The results will be announced at APM’s annual general meeting on 18 November.
John McGlynn, board chair, said: “We are keen to hear from members who feel they have personal and professional qualities that can enrich our board and the association as a whole, to help us support the project profession. If you have a passion for project management, strong leadership skills, creative ideas and experience of operating at board level then why not put yourself forward to stand?”
