Previous announcements confirmed that the association was the subject of a judicial review application by Mr Brian Wernham.

The application was primarily in relation to matters surrounding the 2017 election for trustees, including the decision made by the board that one member was ineligible to participate due to a Code of Professional Conduct procedure. The application also questioned the appointment of a trustee by the board.

In the High Court of Justice, His Honour Judge Platts, robustly dismissed the application on all grounds. There has been no appeal and the Charity Commission is being kept informed.

There will be no further comment.
