APM shortlisted for Memcom Membership Excellence Awards
Association for Project Management (APM) has been shortlisted in three categories at the upcoming Memcom Membership Excellence Awards 2020.
The awards, which take place in June, recognise innovation, creativity and hard work which drive up standards among professional bodies, associations, charities and the wider not-for-profit sector. APM has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Integrated Marketing or Membership Campaign’ and ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ for its acclaimed Make Change Happen Campaign, the Association’s first ever national advertising campaign.
In addition, APM’s chief executive Debbie Dore has been shortlisted for The Louis Armstrong CEO Leadership Award. The nomination is in recognition of leading APM to its best ever year in 2019 and for setting the agenda for the optimum global standards for the project profession.
The news follows APM’s recent success at the Association Excellence Awards, where it was named winner in the ‘Overall Best Association Over 1,000 Members’ category, and its shortlisting at the prestigious CIM Marketing Excellence Awards in the ‘Best Not-for-Profit/Charity/Social Marketing’ category, the latter of which also recognised the Make Change Happen campaign.
Commenting on the achievement, Debbie Dore said: “To be shortlisted in not one but three categories at the Memcom Membership Excellence Award is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work, creativity and innovation that enables APM to set the standard within our sector.
“As the chartered body for the project profession, we are committed to promoting the power of projects for good. Well managed projects change the world for the better: infrastructure that boosts economies; vital healthcare research with the potential to save lives; pioneering climate action projects to reduce carbon emissions. We see these awards not only as recognition for ourselves but for project professionals everywhere.”
