This accelerated roll out of online exams during the current pandemic will ensure that all those working in the profession can continue to develop themselves through APM qualifications, while ensuring the health and safety of all those involved in the exam process.
APM is working closely with its Accredited Training Providers to support them with the online examination process.
Jo Connolly, head of service innovation at APM said: “As the chartered body for the project profession, we want to ensure that all those wishing to continue with their career development during this difficult time are supported and are able to do so without leaving their home. Our online qualification platform will allow people to take their choice of exam, at whatever point they are in their career.”
- The online version of APM’s Risk 2 Qualification will also be available later in the month.
The range of qualifications developed by APM offers a progressive structure for career development, from courses offering the ‘fundamentals’ of project management through to ‘management’ and ‘professional’ levels of understanding, requiring more advanced learning and assessment.
APM qualifications offer a clear route to achieving Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status, recognising the competence and success of project professionals.
In adherence to Government advice, APM has currently stopped paper examinations across all qualifications.
