On 26th November 2019, APM Midlands Branch Corporate sub-committee held the 11th and increasingly popular Corporate Advisory Group VIP Working Lunch exclusively for Midlands Corporate Partner & Affiliate representatives.  The theme for this event was Projecting the Future - the Big Conversation and was kindly hosted by RLB at their offices in central Birmingham.
 
Corporate Members represented included Kuka Systems, ProjExc PM Consulting, QinetiQ, Rider Levett Bucknall, Rolls-Royce, University of Birmingham, and WSP .
 
John Williams (APM Branch Corporate sub-committee Chair) welcomed the attendees and contributors, and introduced the purpose of the Corporate Advisory Group, as well as the theme and goals for the session.
 
David Shaw (RLB Partner) gave an introduction to the RLB works in the Midlands.
 
Stephen Rooney (APM Policy Manager) provided an insightful introduction to Projecting the Future - The Big Conversation, building into an overview of the 6 identified challenges.  During the course of the conversation there were 2 additional challenges proposed - PM profession readiness and Brexit.
