APM launches APM Project Professional Qualification 2nd edition
The Association for Project Management (APM) Project Professional Qualification 2nd edition - a newly designed, rigorous and accessible qualification for those wishing to take the next step in their career – is now live.
The qualification, which is available to take online, sits on the APM Career Path as a key stepping stone between the APM Project Management Qualification and the APM Chartered Project Professional standard.
The assessment has been designed to reflect a project professional’s working environment and allows candidates to fulfil the assessment requirements using both learnt theoretical knowledge and soft skills gained through experience.
Commenting on the launch, Jackie Martin, APM’s head of education and lifelong learning, said:
“This is an exciting launch for APM. It is great to be able to provide the profession with a qualification which will allow people to reaffirm their experience and gain external verification of their skills at this level.”
It launches as a recognised assessment towards chartership, demonstrating candidates meet the technical knowledge requirements to become a Chartered Project Professional.”
