Members of the Association for Project Management Board of Trustees visited the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) to receive a first-hand look at how innovative projects are contributing to a significant, positive impact on society.

APM Trustees, along with Chief Executive Professor Adam Boddison OBE and deputy Chief Executive Mark Hepworth, were given a tour of the site in Coventry, UK to see the key technologies the MTC develops, such as digital engineering, advanced production systems and component manufacturing technology.

The MTC was established in 2010 as an independent research and technology organisation with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry. It represents one of the largest public sector investments in UK manufacturing. The key technologies it develops are applied in a wide range of sectors, including the built environment, aerospace and defence, power and energy, and foundation industries.
