Who is Full membership for?
As an experienced project professional, Full membership of APM gives you influence and recognition so you can make a difference. We have three routes to follow to become a Full member. Whichever route you choose, we’ll support you throughout your career.
Routes to Full membership
Route one
Experience and qualification
- Hold an accepted qualification.
- Have a minimum of three years' experience in project management either as a practitioner or in an academic environment.
Evidence
- A completed application (online).
- Project experience (requirements provided within the guidance).
- Evidence of and accepted qualification.
- Two statements of support.
Route two
Direct entry qualification
- Hold an accepted qualification for direct entry into membership.
Evidence
- A completed application (online).
- Evidence of an accepted qualification for direct entry.
Route three
Experience
- Have a minimum of five years' experience in project management either as a practitioner or in an academic environment.
Evidence
- A completed application (online).
- Project experience (requirements provided within the guidance).
- Two statements of support.
For each route, applicants must confirm their commitment to the APM Code of Professional Conduct at the point of application.
