Victoria is passionate about making positive change. Having developed and led national campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes, Victoria is now supporting the delivery of Auditory Verbal UK’s focused and exciting strategy to increase perceptions of what deaf children can achieve with early and effective support and ensure all deaf children have the opportunity to access Auditory Verbal therapy via publicly funded services close to where they live.

Session: Auditory Verbal UK and AtkinsRéalis: Achieving More Together

AVUK and AtkinsRéalis embraced an innovative Social Value partnership to accelerate the realisation of AVUKs vision - to ensure that all deaf children have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers.

By committing to an enduring collaboration, AtkinsRéalis were able to tailor the nature of the support to AVUKs strategy. Led by AVUK priorities and supported by their committed team, AtkinsRéalis provided access to specialists in business case development and programme design. This was achieved through the co-ordination of Volunteer Days and dedicated work packages, enabling volunteers to leverage their valuable skills in a meaningful way, delivering an impact which is greater than the sum of its parts.

Through this partnership AVUK have transformed their operating model. Allowing AVUK to continue to provide life-changing Auditory Verbal therapy to deaf children, alongside dedicated workstreams focused on embedding the service into the UK health system to ensure all children have access.
