Building on her time in the Royal Air Force, she transitioned into project management seeking to drive beneficial innovation through digital transformation. As a Chartered Project Professional she has led ICT and business change projects across the Defence and Health sectors.

AVUK and AtkinsRéalis embraced an innovative Social Value partnership to accelerate the realisation of AVUKs vision - to ensure that all deaf children have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers.

By committing to an enduring collaboration, AtkinsRéalis were able to tailor the nature of the support to AVUKs strategy. Led by AVUK priorities and supported by their committed team, AtkinsRéalis provided access to specialists in business case development and programme design. This was achieved through the co-ordination of Volunteer Days and dedicated work packages, enabling volunteers to leverage their valuable skills in a meaningful way, delivering an impact which is greater than the sum of its parts.

Through this partnership AVUK have transformed their operating model. Allowing AVUK to continue to provide life-changing Auditory Verbal therapy to deaf children, alongside dedicated workstreams focused on embedding the service into the UK health system to ensure all children have access.
