What is recognised assessment?

A recognised assessment is awarded to an organisation who can show that a particular development programme or qualification meets either the technical knowledge or the technical knowledge and professional practice criteria needed to achieve the chartered standard.

This means that if you have successfully passed the assessment you’ll be eligible to apply for the Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) standard via one of the following:

  • Pathway 2 (for assessment for technical knowledge)
  • Pathway 3 (for assessment for professional practice)
  • Pathway 4 (for assessments for both professional practice and technical knowledge)

Pathway 3

Pathway 4

For all recognised assessments that have a validity date, the certificate needs to be current during the full assessment cycle that an applicant applies under.
