Dr Penny Pullan

Dr Penny Pullan is an experienced projects and programmes manager and a former Chair of this Interest Network. She now helps others to develop their own collaboration and leadership skills for success in tricky projects and programmes, through her consultancy Making Projects Work Ltd. She's recently completed a second, part-time MA, researching 'The Ethics of Inclusion' and teaches on two Durham University leadership modules.
Penny has written, co-authored, contributed to or edited a number of books including: 'Making Risk Management Work' 2nd Edn with Dr Ruth Murray-Webster (2023, Routledge), ‘Virtual Leadership: Practical strategies for success with remote or hybrid work and teams’ 2nd Edn (2022, Kogan Page) and ‘Making Workshops Work: Creative collaboration for our time' (2021, PIP). Penny was one of the authors of Managing Successful Programmes 5th Edition (Axelos, 2020) and contributed to the latest APM Body of Knowledge.
