Lorna is a chartered project (APM) and management (CMI) professional with a doctorate in project delivery and management. With 30+ years’ experience, Lorna has worked in local and central government, transportation, education and market research environment and has led diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
Her strong work ethic and head for practicality, has led to Lorna being described as a keen pragmatist who adopts a common-sense, “use what works” approach to ensure that the job gets done and gets done right to achieve success and deliver beneficial outcomes.

Lorna is currently based at Defra, since 2019, where she also provides PPM career coaching and mentoring and is a Project Race Ambassador at DEFRA.
